Which item is right?
Welcher means which before a masculine noun. Use welche with feminine or plural nouns and welches with a neuter noun. Here the item is the subject of ist or sind.

Use zu before a description to mean too: zu klein means too small and zu groß means too large. Passend means suitable or the right size.

Which one will you buy?
When a masculine item is the object, welcher becomes welchen and dieser becomes diesen. Feminine, neuter and plural forms stay the same. Anprobieren means to try on; its an moves to the end.
