Describe someone you can see
Mila describes people outside a cafe. In a nominative phrase, ein does not show the masculine or neuter ending. The adjective supplies it: ein großer Mann, ein rundes Gesicht. Feminine eine goes with an adjective ending in -e.
Das ist ein großer Mann.
That is a tall man.
Das ist eine große Frau.
That is a tall woman.
Das ist ein rundes Gesicht.
That is a round face.
Das ist eine kurze Frisur.
That is a short hairstyle.
Compare masculine ein großer Mann, feminine eine große Frau and neuter ein rundes Gesicht. These are nominative descriptions after das ist. Keep the noun's gender even when the person's gender differs.

Correct a description
Mila's friend has mixed up two coats. Kein follows the same adjective pattern as ein in the singular. In the plural, keine takes an adjective ending in -en.
Das ist kein langer Mantel.
That is not a long coat.
Das ist keine rote Jacke.
That is not a red jacket.
Das ist kein weißes Hemd.
That is not a white shirt.
Das sind keine langen Haare.
That is not long hair.
Kein changes the meaning to not a or no. The adjective ending still depends on gender and number: kein langer Mantel, keine rote Jacke, kein weißes Hemd, keine langen Haare.

Ask what kind
Was für ein? asks what kind of thing you mean. The noun determines the form. Here the thing is the subject, so use was für ein Mantel, was für eine Jacke and was für ein Hemd.
Was für ein Mantel ist das?
What kind of coat is that?
Das ist ein blauer Mantel.
That is a blue coat.
Was für eine Jacke ist das?
What kind of jacket is that?
Das ist eine rote Jacke.
That is a red jacket.
In these questions, für belongs to was für ein. It does not automatically make the following phrase accusative. Keep your answer short with ein blauer Mantel or eine rote Jacke.
