Ben läuft langsamer als Lea.
Ben runs more slowly than Lea.
Heute trainiere ich länger als gestern.

Schnell becomes schneller and langsam becomes langsamer. These forms describe how someone trains, so they do not take noun endings.
02
Better and more
The coach compares two training sessions. Some common comparisons change their form. Gut becomes besser, and viel becomes mehr. Learn these as pairs.

Ben macht weniger Pausen als gestern.

Use besser for quality and mehr for quantity. Weniger means less or fewer. Das Training is training, and die Übung is an exercise.
03
