Do not use the genitive: gemäß den Vorgaben, not gemäß der Vorgaben. Gemäß can also follow the noun, as in den Vorgaben gemäß. Die Vorgaben means the guidelines, and die Zugangsdaten means the login details.

Entgegen: contrary to expectations
Entgegen means contrary to. It also takes the dative and often introduces a surprising result: entgegen den Erwartungen. Like gemäß, it belongs to a more formal or written style.
Entgegen den Erwartungen nutzen viele ältere Lernende die App täglich.
Contrary to expectations, many older learners use the app every day.
Entgegen der Empfehlung der Lehrerin hat Paul den Kurs abgebrochen.
Contrary to the teacher's recommendation, Paul dropped out of the course.
Entgegen dem ersten Eindruck ist die Plattform leicht zu bedienen.

Do not use the genitive: entgegen den Erwartungen, not entgegen der Erwartungen. Do not confuse entgegen with gegen: gegen takes the accusative and means against. Entgegen may also follow the noun: den Erwartungen entgegen. Die Prognose means the forecast, and der Eindruck the impression.

Choosing the right preposition
Platform rules and course emails often combine several prepositions that express a source or a relationship to a rule. Gemäß follows a rule, entgegen goes against an expectation or plan, and gegen expresses opposition. Laut, according to, names a source and is usually used with the dative.
