Alternatives, additions and exclusions
Jonas is weighing up a move and a change of career. Entweder ... oder presents alternatives, sowohl ... als auch includes both, and weder ... noch excludes both. Keep the two linked parts parallel, such as two nouns or two infinitive phrases.

Weder ... noch already contains the negation, so do not add nicht to express neither. Die Verpflichtung means commitment or obligation, and die Weiterbildung means further training.

Show the tension between priorities
Zwar ... aber concedes one point before adding a counterargument. Nicht nur ... sondern auch adds a second point with emphasis. Einerseits ... andererseits weighs two sides; at the start of a main clause, either adverb is followed by the finite verb.
Die neue Stelle bietet zwar mehr Sicherheit, aber weniger Spielraum.
The new job offers more security, admittedly, but less room to manoeuvre.
Ein Umzug verändert nicht nur meinen Alltag, sondern auch den meiner Partnerin.
A move changes not only my daily routine but also my partner's.
Einerseits reizt mich der Neuanfang, andererseits möchte ich meine Freunde nicht zurücklassen.
On the one hand, the fresh start appeals to me; on the other, I do not want to leave my friends behind.
Ich habe zwar mehrere Möglichkeiten, aber keine passt zu allen meinen Prioritäten.
I do have several options, but none fits all my priorities.
Die Sicherheit means security, der Spielraum room to manoeuvre, and der Zeitdruck time pressure. These connectors also suit a formal statement of reasons; choose the pair that matches the relationship you intend.

Connect changing priorities
Use je ... desto or je ... umso with comparatives to show how two things change together. The je-clause ends with its finite verb; the main clause begins with desto or umso and a comparative, followed by its finite verb. Finish a reflection by stating what a workable choice needs to achieve.
Je genauer ich meine Prioritäten kenne, desto leichter fällt mir die Entscheidung.
The more precisely I know my priorities, the easier I find the decision.
Je mehr Verantwortung ich übernehme, umso wichtiger wird mir ein freier Abend.
The more responsibility I take on, the more important a free evening becomes to me.
Ich suche eine Lösung, die sowohl meinen beruflichen Zielen als auch meinem Privatleben gerecht wird.
I am looking for a solution that meets both my career goals and the needs of my private life.
Je länger ich darüber nachdenke, desto klarer wird mir, welche Kompromisse ich akzeptieren kann.
The longer I think about it, the clearer it becomes to me which compromises I can accept.
In je mehr Verantwortung, mehr compares the amount of responsibility, not the speed of the action. Einer Sache gerecht werden takes the dative and means to do justice to it or meet its needs.
