Und bei der nächsten Tour im Ötztal hatten wir sogar Vier Seen am Wegesrand.
And on the next tour in the Ötztal, we even had four lakes along the way.

Wir haben uns am Anfang ein paar Höhenmeter gespart und sind mit dem

Next up is the Zugspitze.

My favorite route leads through the Höllental valley.

Meine Lieblingstour führt durch das Höllental hinauf.
First, it goes through the spectacular gorge below.

Da geht es unten erst durch die spektakuläre Klamm hindurch.
then over iron pins upwards, we cross the glacier passage.
[03:08]
dann über so Eisenstifte nach oben, wir queren die Gletscherpassage.
and at the end, a spectacular via ferrata awaits.
[03:12]
und am Ende wartet ein spektakulärer Klettersteig.
However, you also need strength for 2200 meters of elevation gain.
[03:15]
Ihr braucht allerdings auch Kraft für 2200 Höhenmeter.
But you can also spend the night in a hut in between.
[03:18]
Ihr könnt aber zwischendurch auch auf einer Hütte übernachten.
The way back is then by cable car into the valley.
[03:21]
Zurück geht's dann mit der Seilbahn ins Tal.
One of my favorite routes from last summer is definitely the
[03:24]
Eine meiner Lieblingstouren aus dem letzten Sommer ist auf jeden Fall die
hike to the Drachensee lake.

Wanderung zum Drachensee.
We started there on the Miminger Plateau and then it goes up to the
[03:29]
Wir sind da am Miminger Plateau gestartet und dann geht es rauf zur
Grünstein-Hütte, you have to climb quite hard there.
[03:33]
Grünstein-Charte, da müsst ihr euch ganz schön hochquellen.
But at the top, you already have a sensational view of the Drachensee lake
[03:34]
Und oben habt ihr dann aber schon einen sensationellen Blick auf den Drachensee
down below.
[03:37]
runter.
And right next to it is the Coburger Hütte, it's a great tip for a stop.
[03:39]
Und direkt daneben liegt die Coburger Hütte, ist ein toller Einkehrtipp.
The way back is then over the Biber-Wand and that way you are really
[03:40]
Zurück geht es dann über die Biber-Virachate und so seid ihr wirklich
out all day.
[03:45]
den ganzen Tag unterwegs.
The tour takes nine hours in total.
[03:46]
Neun Stunden dauert die Tour insgesamt.
If you plan such long tours, I definitely recommend starting early
[03:48]

Die große Rosengartenumrundung startet nämlich an der Kölner Hütte und führt dann

Über sechs Kilometer lang und ihr lauft immer so am ewigen Eis nach oben bis zur

Da lohnt sich ein Einkehrschwung und der Blick auf den Piz Bernina, der ist nämlich

Ich glaube, jeder Bergsteiger träumt davon, einmal im Leben auf dem Watzmann zu

But maybe you don't have to walk all the way to the top, but maybe

Aber vielleicht muss man auch gar nicht bis ganz hoch laufen, sondern vielleicht

It starts down in Schönau am Königssee, right on the shore.

First, you walk through the forest up, and from the Küräu, everything becomes

Da geht es erstmal durch den Wald nach oben und ab der Küräu, in allem wird es

dann deutlich spektakulärer, da wartet dann der Pfalzsteig auf euch.
And up at the Watzmannhaus, you can theoretically spend the night, as you'll have

Und oben am Watzmannhaus könnt ihr theoretisch auch übernachten, ihr habt da
some altitude meters in your legs.

nämlich einige Höhenmeter in den Beinchen.
And especially on the way back, if you come back the same way, I would

Und gerade am Rückweg, wenn ihr über denselben Weg zurückklappt, würde ich euch
recommend the detour to the Eichenkanzel.

noch den Abstecher zur Eichenkanzel empfehlen.
From there, you can look down on the Königssee from above, and it lies beneath you

Da könnt ihr von oben auf den Königsee hinab blicken und er liegt dann unter euch
