Hindelanger Klettersteig in Oberstdorf: Luftige Gratkraxelei in den Allgäuer Alpen
This video documents a challenging via ferrata route in the Allgäu Alps, specifically the Hindelanger Klettersteig, which involves climbing along a ridge at over 2,000 meters. The approximately 4-5 hour climb from Nebelhorn towards Großer Daumen features steep ascents, ladders, exposed sections, and a difficulty rating up to C, requiring a head for heights and surefootedness. While the entire route to Großer Daumen was not completed due to time constraints, the climbers managed to descend to the station with a small buffer for the last cable car.
