nämlich den deutschen Plural.
namely, the German plural.

Im Deutschen gibt es sieben reguläre Pluralformen.
In German, there are seven regular plural forms.

Das Problem ist jedoch, dass es von all diesen Formen und Regeln Ausnahmen gibt.
The problem, however, is that there are exceptions to all of these forms and rules.

Zum Beispiel gibt es eine Regel, dass 90% aller femininen Wörter am Ende oder im Plural die Endung en bekommen.
For example, there's a rule that 90% of all feminine words get the ending 'en' at the end or in the plural.

Zum Beispiel die Frau, die Frauen, die Frage, die Fragen, die Zeit, die Zeiten.
For example, 'die Frau' (the woman), 'die Frauen' (the women), 'die Frage' (the question), 'die Fragen' (the questions), 'die Zeit' (the time), 'die Zeiten' (the times).
